AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

One hour after receiving your tattoo:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your new tattoo.
2. Remove the bandage and wash your new tattoo with warm water and mild soap.
3. Allow tattoo to air dry or gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel.
4. Apply a small amount of Vitamin A&D ointment to your tattoo and gently rub it in.
5. Do not re-bandage your tattoo.
6. After 5 minutes, If tattoo is still too greasy to the touch, dab off excess A&D with a paper towel.

For the next 5-6 Days:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly any time before you touch your new tattoo.
2. Wash your tattoo daily with warm water and mild soap.
3. Allow tattoo to air dry or gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel.
4. Apply a small amount of Vitamin A&D ointment to your tattoo and gently rub it in.
5. After 5 minutes, If tattoo is still too greasy to the touch, dab off excess A&D with a paper towel.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 two to three times daily to keep the tattoo from drying out.

After 5-6 days:

1. Continue washing your hands before you touch your tattoo.
2. Continue cleaning your tattoo by washing it with mild soap and warm water.
3. Apply a moisturizing FRAGRANCE FREE lotion several times a day.
   Examples: Keri, Jergens, Lubriderm, etc.

TIPS AND SIDE EFFECTS
DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO
YOUR TATTOO MAY SCAB UP DURING HEALING
YOUR TATTOO MAY ITCH BUT DO NOT SCRATCH IT
DO NOT USE EXFOLATING, TANNING OR BRONZING LOTIONS FOR AT LEAST 3-4 WEEKS
DO NOT LET ANYONE TOUCH YOUR TATTOO WHILE IT IS HEALING
AVOID HOT TUBS, SWIMMING POOLS, AND SAUNAS FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS
AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND TANNING BEDS FOR 3-4 WEEKS
